I didn't add red light therapy to my wellness routine looking for a miracle.
I added it because I'm always researching and looking for ways to help my body
perform at its best. What I've experienced has exceeded my expectations.
Living with an incomplete C5 spinal cord injury means that strength, mobility,
recovery, and simply getting my body to respond the way I want it to are things
I never take for granted.
Since incorporating red light therapy at Laser Lab into my overall wellness
program, alongside consistent strength training and an active lifestyle,
I've noticed meaningful changes.
My strength training feels better and stronger. My mobility and recovery
definitely feel different. But one of the biggest surprises has been what
I've experienced at night.
For years, overnight spasticity has been part of my normal, often 25 to 30
spasms a night traveling through my legs. Since beginning consistent red
light therapy, that spasticity has minimized dramatically. On many nights,
it has been almost nonexistent. For me, that has been an unexpected and very
noticeable change.
I'm careful about giving any one thing all the credit. My approach has always
been about the entire program: movement, strength training, recovery,
consistency, nutrition, and continuing to explore ways to help my body
function at its highest possible level.
Red light therapy has become an important part of that overall wellness
program and my lifestyle.
After nearly three decades of living with a spinal cord injury, I've learned
something very important: never stop exploring what your body may still be
capable of.
My experience at Laser Lab has given me another reason to be hopeful and
excited about what may still be possible.
I'm excited about what I'm experiencing, grateful to the team at Laser Lab,
and genuinely curious about where this wellness journey takes me next.
Keep moving. Keep learning. And never stop giving your body an opportunity
to surprise you.
